Party Like A Rock Star
Here are the photos I promised of my fun dress & sassy shoes. It's really hard to see the details on a black dress, but there were cool sparkles on the top and the bottom just above the skirt part. It's also difficult to get sheepie-free photos in my house.

Now, here's the funny part. We changed our minds about our plans at least three times, and I *thought* we'd decided to stay in. So I changed into jeans & a warm sweater. We were going to fix steak & shrimp and do a quiet evening at home. Then, at the last minute, we decided to ditch that idea, too, and went to a little tavern in a small town nearby where we like to eat sometimes. They had a DJ and it turned into a rocking party so we stayed and danced our tushes off & toasted in the new year in style. So, while I had the sassy outfit all ready, I partied like a rock star in jeans & boots.  Oh well...I'll just have to find an excuse to wear it later.  |

I love the picture of Gen in the way - gee, we all have had that happen!!! In the end, it was better to have a great night out in the casual clothes, rather than a bad night in great clothes.
