Have you checked your lipsticks?
Age does affect the pigmentation, usually going lighter. |
My pup Lily actually rubs off her pigment on her nose. Usually she has an entirely black nose, then when she rubs her nose on the fence or somewhere else and abraids it, the black comes off like a scab and is pink underneath for weeks at a time and then it slowly repigments. |
Be sure your pets are NOT eating out of plastic bowls. There was a post on this sometime back. We had a little mixed foster dog who was losing pigment in this nose and lips when I read the post. I was using a plastic bowl at the time and separatin him from our other dogs to eat. Sure enough, I changed to a crockery bowl and the pigment returned in less than two weeks! No more plastic for us. |
nope, pandas food is in a metal bowl and her water bowl is ceramic.....she is just losing pigment...... |
I absolutely love Panda's eyes. Chauncey had a black spot or 2 when we got him as a puppy. He's now 2 y.o. and we're seeing more of the black, is this gradual or are some just born with the beautiful eye liner? |
panda was born with her black eyeliner.....some girls have all the luck!! |
Jake's eyeliner was sooooo perfect and thick; we really should have changed his name to "Max" after "Max Factor." |
Barney says he'll love Panda with pink lips, black lips, any color lips! |
