Brest cancer treatment has a high survival rate because the women buckle down and do all that needs to be done. Quit being a weenie and do it. (and if it ever happens to me, you can tell me the same thing) |

| Darcy, I am so sorry for what you are going through. I couldn't even try to imagine how you are feeling, but this is why you pay him, he is the professional. Good luck, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that one day (many, many, many years away) you will look back and say, yep 6 rounds was worth it. |

| Ask your MD if you can be genetically tested for a gene that is deterministic as to the need for chemo.
I heard about this maybe a week ago, that this test can see, for a specific type of BC, whether or not chemo will be advantageous. Or maybe I heard it wrong. Anyway, three to go at most! |

Ditto, your a tough cookie, your half way there, lots of tough/strict Moms on this forum who will pounce on you if anything less then 6 treatments. Moms are mean & tough when it comes to people they love and care about so don't get them angry, just do it.

from us! Go for it: there's a reason why six is the number of treatments in your schedule. It may be as simple as 5 isn't enough and 7 is too much , very likely based on research.  |

| Pansies are among my favorite flowers.
Hey, if you can do 5, you can certainly do 6. Anybody tough enough to go bald and post the pix all over the internet definitely has what it takes to finish the whole protocol. When you feel like you can't do any more, remember, you've got friends to help you. You know we'd do it for you if we could. |
