Eight years ago, my stepfather's heal began to fail and we decided to stay in a dog-friendly hotel. The dogs loved it, especially the elevator with the glass sides. They were well behaved and it was fun. Last year, we stayed with my mother as my stepfather had passed. I think the noise and exctement helped her get through it. We had fun. This year, the dogs and kittens stayed with my daughter in her apt while my husband and I stayed with my mom. Except Bailey wouldn't pee. Not at the apt, not at the park or on the walks. Not at my mom's house. For grins, I decided to load her up in the car and take her to the grassy area at the hotel. In less than 3 minutes, she was done. We had to do it again on Christmas Day. So we will again be staying at the hotel so Bailey can ride the elevator and pee like a good girl. And I can't wait to tell my coworkers about Bailey. |

Bailey, many people have the same problem when they travel. I understand you just wanted to be with your Mommy. Good girl.......BTW, what size bladder do you have? 3x? |
Good girl Bailey! |
Bailey weighs 82 lbs - and 60 of that must be bladder.
I cannot tell you how much the furkids love the hotel. We stay there two or three times a year. They know the entrance we usually go in has an airlock, so they wait for us to open the second door. They know the path to the elevator - and the direction to head when they go out. It's a suite, with the small livingroom, kitchenette, bath and bedroom. They love hanging out in the different rooms. We always bring them bananas from breakfast. I really nee to get a picture of them in the elevator.......... |
