Best In Show
It was on demand on HBO. It was filmed in 2000. It is about characters who enter their dog is a national dog show. It is a comedy and it is a funny and entertaining movie. Although there isn't a sheepdog in the movie but it is definetly a dog person movie. Has anyone seen it? Mary |

| I've seen it half a dozens times, every time I do I am in hysterics. Not being a "show person" I don't know how "true to life" it is but it is pretty darn funny!!!!! |
| I have lots of friends who like it. My husband and I thought it was absolutely terrible. Guess we just don't like that sort of humor in movies ...or something. |

I agree!  My favorite "Best in Show" moment was this one time that I was in a port-a-potty, and this woman in the potty next to me brought her dog in with her. I could hear her saying "Mommy's going pee pee." It took every muscle to keep from burst out laughing.
Oh, and most of the long time dog show/breeders I've met really hate the movie...  |

Everything you see in that movie is true. Which is probably why the long term show people hate it!!! If somebody says that they hate that movie, they probably find one of the characters a little too familiar, if you know what I mean!!  |

Didn't hold my attention, maybe another viewing) The actors are the same and scripts were written with basic direction only. |
| I really liked Best in Show, but for some reason A Mighty Wind just didn't get my attention. I don't think I even finished watching it, which is really unusual for me. |
