| Are you working with a Rescue? Many of the Rescue organizations have transportation contacts but....
This is a very difficult situation. Most people are hesitant to get involved in an adoption / transportation because of horror stories we've either heard of - or been part of. For example - last year a woman asked for help in transporting an OES for her to adopt. One of the OES Listers offered her help. Well, 3 months later this woman was arrested for several counts of animal cruelty - with several dogs being found dead on her property (and an OES being among them). It's unfortunate - but things like this has made it a very untrusting world and has made it very difficult for people like you who want to do a long distance adoption!
