He is really cute and Congratulations.It's NJ, not CO. There are only a few 5 degree nights here and very little snow... It is nice though housebreaking in warmer weather. Sometimes you have little time to get your shoes and coat on before running a puppy outside who was in the middle of peeing. Congrats CrystalandJoe on your new addition. I'm sure he will fit very well with your family. |

| So, how is it going with Winston? |
| Poor Winston has been stuck in Detroit due to all this lovely weather since yesterday. Apparently my mom tells me he should be on a flight to his new family tomorrow morning. |
| Is he at DTW? I could have gotten him and brought him to my house for the night, it's only an hour away. |

Yes, he's at DTW. I never even thought of that!! Apparently they have a kennel at the airport and he is being well taken care of. |

Yes Winston is still in Detroit and it is Sunday night! I can't believe how close yet how far he still is! But i have talked to the kennel a number of times and he seems to be doing fine. I am, hopefully, barring no more weather problems going to get him tomorrow. Good thing i had gotten monday off anticipating spending more bonding time with him. I can't even tell you how disappointing it was this morning when we got the call from the airline saying he wasn't going to be able to make it. But like people have said at least he is safe and warm, and being fed. I will keep you all updated! I just can't wait to finally see him and hug him...if he will come out of the crate! Poor little guy  I am keeping very positive for tomorrow. |
| I have one of Amber's pups...Nigel. She has lovely dogs and I am sure he will be fine once you get him. It is so tough when you have to worry about the weather. Nigel came in July and we had the opposite weather worries.

| Winston has arrived! safe and sound he was very anxious to get out of his crate and meet his new mommy and daddy. He landed and we swept him home in a lovely taxi. It has been so much fun....interesting and exciting all in one. I can't believe that he is actually here. I have noticed that he likes to put his whole paw in his water dish and trample it all over the house. He also has an interesting time going up and downstairs....he goes a little less than half way and then he is sooo done! Its cute the look he gives me. We went on some walks and he loves to chase leaves. I think i may have a hard time with the potty training aspect...he pees on the floor and then its like what do i do....sooo i just take him immediatly outside. Any other suggestions? Oh yes and he just loves my pink slippers, i think that was the first thing he went for when we let him out. Oh yes and he loves to lay on the christmas tree skirt! |
