Dog treats - yummy and for a good cause!
A couple of our members make the most delicious dog treats (yes I tried one) and are shipping them in time for Christmas. The snicker doodle ones were a huge hit with my dogs. Got the two baskets I ordered today and can't tell you how pleased I am. They are beautifully presented and wrapped! I had to store them on top of the kitchen cabinets, because as soon as the box arrived, the four footed creatures (cats included) knew there was something in that box that needed extensive checking out by them. One of the baskets is for my parent's PWD, Annie, and it needs to make it to Christmas! If Basset rescue does this again next year please let us know! I will definitely be ordering them again. Our rescue has been hit with high medical costs and a large number of intakes over the past several months. The money is all going right to the dogs. 
I ordered some too - and have been hiding my basket of goodies until Christmas. I did break down earlier today and gave them all some. I agree, they did a wonderful job with them! |
| Dawn, I somehow missed this post the first time around. Is it too late to buy? I know I won't make Christmas delivery but we can always use treats and I'd love to help out the rescue. |

Jody emailed me back. They have used up all their supplies for making the holiday baskets, and will not be making anymore this year. 
Due to the popular response, they plan on making them again next year, though! We are planning some big gift basket raffles later this summer - if the treats are part of it, I will let you know. |
