I'm so sick!
I started coughing last Wed night, didn't sleep that night, slept most of the day on Thurs. Felt a little better on Friday so tried to do some stuff between coughing fits. Spent all day Sat sleeping between coughing fits, then went to friends to play cards Sat night. Spent all day Sunday sleeping - with no coughing! So I thought I was past the hurdle. Finally gave in and went to the dr's yesterday. Yikes!  I came home with a breathing treatment machine that I have to use every 2 hours, and an Advair nebulizer, and a scrip for Zithromax. I'm starting to feel better now that I can't hear my chest wheezing. Dale says he doesn't think he has seen me so sick in all the time he's known me!! 
Just needed to vent because I'm not used to feeling so helpless. Gotta go - time for my next breathing treatment. |

Sorry to hear you are ill. I have been taken by our hot to suddenly cold weather. I have a sinus infection that have been no fun. Take care of yourself, enjoy the holiday and get well soon.  |

Oh dear, Chris!! Bless your heart. I feel your pain. When I do get sick, it seems it's almost always that blasted bronchitis. It's awful. Take care of yourself, the last time mine turned into pneumonia.  Take all your meds & breathing treatments so you can get better and enjoy the holidays! |

| ugh I'm sorry to hear it- bronchitis is the worst!!! I had it two years ago and coughed so hard I pulled a muscle in my stomach so I had double the pain everytime I coughed.

| Oh ICK! Once you have bronchitis, it is so hard to throw the cough. While it sounds like over medical treatment, hitting it like this may save you months of coughing. |

| Bronchitis is the worst. The only time I've had it I thought was gonna die. No really, I thought I would cough up a lung. But it got me to stop smoking for 6 months. Restrestrest. And rest some more. Take your drugs and do your breathalator. And rest.
Make Dale serve you meals in bed. Because you need to rest. |

Thanks, everyone!  I appreciate the well wishes. I hate sitting home doing nothing, but I guess I have no choice.
The coughing fits are downright scary! My ribs are SO sore and it's frightening to hear these sounds coming out of me! I'm surprised I haven't moved organs around inside me with the force of the coughs.
Yep, just call me Weezie. Sounds weird to hear my chest whistle as I exhale!

Todd just had some horrid crud. He was better and I hadn't got it. Thought I was home free. NOT!!! Now I am coming down with it. I hope it isn't bronchitis or anything like that. Antibiotics and my IBS are not a good combination. |

| I get this almost every year - bed rest and chicken soup. I find I sleep better with a vaporizer on at night - day too when I am really bad. It ends up aggrevating my asthma and I often end up on steroids, try not to over do anything! |
