I had the front door open while waiting for Ryan's bus to come. So the dogs were in and out. Then Pepsi all of a sudden notice something hanging down over the doorway. He immediately jumped back and let out this low growl to alert everyone that something was not right. I knew I had to get this on video. All the dogs started freaking out. Of course....the batteries in both the cameras were dead. So these were taken with my cell phone. Sorry for the low quality. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1jZTuEhWF0 Check out the little maneuver Pepsi pulls at the end to push Rags out of his way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pn1fX6qX_m8 |

I would suggest you don't hang any Mistletoe |
Good Boy Pepsi! Protect your family from that evil piece of greenery! |
Cute! |
We had to take the wreath down because they wouldn't stop barking and I had to leave the door open until Ryan got home. I couldn't reach, so Billy got it. I told him to be careful because I knew what would happen if he let it anywhere near the dogs. Rags and Pepsi both jumped up, ready to attack the evil thing.
Now I have to remember to put it back up. |
Crazy dogs!!!
And how long had it been up before he noticed it?? |

And how long had it been up before he noticed it?? It's been up a week. I have had the door open every morning since last Tuesday to look out for the bus. None of them noticed it until today. I guess Pepsi saw it out of the corner of his eye because he jumped back and crouched as soon as he saw it. I was standing there when it happened and I almost peed my pants. Then as soon as he started freaking out the two big mouthed females start freaking out too. |
Bella pulled a similar stunt on Sunday. I had put the crèche up Thursday with Bella watching me do it. Sunday evening she went into the living room and started barking like mad. When we went in to see what the problem was she was barking at the crèche. We are not sure what was different this time as opposed to the dozens of others she had walked by it but something set her off. She is calmed down now but still gives that area of the living room a wide bearth. |
What a racket!! That will keep evil doers from your door! Pepsi is quite the guard dog!
Thanks for reminding me to let the dogs help with all decorating. |

I think Pepsi was saying, "Move out of my way Rags, this is my barking session, go back to looking out the door!" I didn't realize that Miss Rags seems to be in the videos more than Pepsi. Pepsi kept running back inside to check on me. He was running in and bumping into me on purpose. I think he was trying to keep me away from the evil hanging thingy. new2sheepies, Welcome back!! |
Thanks, Elissa!!
