hmm, sounds like a dog who would like agility.
Bob was playing, sounds like you have a frisky dog on your hands who will challenge you these coming months. Your job is to keep him entertained or else he will find things to do........and that could mean trouble. Seriously, think about agility in the future, in the mean time some up with many different scenarios for Bob. Walking over, under and around objects......is there a children's park nearby which might have challenging equipment. Right now Bob needs to be encouraged in his life's adventures or else you'll end up with a easily frightened whimp. |
bob cant be described as a frightened whimp he,s not scared of anything and is a very confindent dog ,even at nearly 5 months old we are very pleased with him and dont have to many worries i have heard about a few oes doing aligity but i dont think its for bob talking about parks bobs part of a large family where hes always trying new things out even the trampolien if not watched |
Hi,
I loved reading this story and it reminds me of "The Dog That Wouldn't Be", a story I read in childhood and have reread many times since. Like Bob the dog would love to walk on walls, climb trees and fences..etc..much to the torment of neighborhood cats. If you ever get a chance you should read it...it will probably make you think..hey my Bob is just like the dog in the story. Marianne |
LOL, Annabelle is our agility dog....Ashlan, our 7 year old has taught her to run up to the top of the slide and to slide back down again. We now see Annabelle do this when her and Jack play chase. Jack will have no part of heights. LOL
At our dog park we have a full agility course, Annabelle can do all of it, and has a blast except the weaving poles, she doesn't do that. LOL Jack will go throught the tunnel and he will jump on the LOWEST platform, there are 3 sizes. She loves all of the stuff, the A frame is her favorite though. Jack seems to think all play should involve a ball, any color, or size. You can get creative with your "ball" games, but it HAS to involve the ball. Jack is like the Peanuts gang's Linus with a blanket.....Jack just has a ball. They both love swimming as well, but you have to watch carefully, they get tired very easy and all the hair weighs them down tremendously. We have thought of a trampoline for the kids, but we would like them a little older. It makes me a little nervous. I could see Annabelle trying to get up there, but not Jack. I am not sure how safe a dog would be up there with their legs and hips. I think I will wait on a trampoline. LOL I think the later it gets the more I ramble. Stormi and co. |
Dudley just LOVES the "jumpoline", as my niece calls it. He doesn't really jump, but he likes walking around on it and looking down through it. I think he jumps up there to be closer to the wind so he can stick his snout in the air and sniff. |
thats what bob does just walks round it or he like to lie under it |
