http://denver.craigslist.org/pet/496309152.html MISSING Old English Sheepdog Puppy - REWARD! Help us find her! Reply to: ABLEDenver@aol.com Date: 2007-12-02, 10:58AM MST Our Old English Sheepdog puppy managed to get out of our fenced yard this morning - around 9:45 am or so. Given that we noticed her disappearance just a couple of minutes after it could have occurred, we are feeling that she has been housed by someone recognizing that she is a loved pooch. She has never wandered away from the house before and we searched about 100 blocks or more of the neighborhood looking for her. She was nowhere to be found. She disappeared from the corner of 37th Avenue and Madison Street in NE Denver. (That is five blocks WEST of Colorado Blvd and about four blocks EAST of Steele Street. We are five block NORTH of Martin Luther King Blvd.) She is white and grey (some call it blue) and she is 20 months old. She has recently (about 4 months ago) been shaved and is about 70 pounds. She is playful but a little shy/fearful about strangers and new situations. She is wearing a BRIGHT red collar that is brand new. She does NOT have her tags on that collar. She has a dark grey "ring" around her left eye - sort of looking like the pooch from "Spanky & the Gang". She is micro-chipped - so IF found - a vet can "scan" her. She has already been reported to Home Again - and they know to call us if she turns up. She is the dog in the CENTER of the photo of the three pooches. (One of the others is her litter mate who she has never been separated from before.) She is the only dog in the other photo. A reward for the safe return of this puppy exists. We want her back home. THANKS! Call: Charlie @ 303 946 3355 OR Marc @ 303 507 7720 THANKS, much! |

Oh I really hope they get their baby back...they sound like loving parents who have done all the right things. |
Oh no!!! I hope she will be re-united with her owners soon! Do you know if they put posters around their neighbourhood? |
I just received a note from the owner...
dog and owner have been reunited. |
woo hoo!!!!!!!
Did owner say if dog was loose, stolen or borrowed? |
Quote: Sure enough LulaMae's funny mug was on the website last night after the shelter closed. We were there this morning at opening moment to retrieve her from "jail".
Someone probably called AC or took her in themselves. So much better that being run over by a car or stolen. |
YAY for happy endings! |
Thank goodness she is home and safe!!!! |
YEA...a happy ending is ALWAY'S a GOOD THING. I wonder if the owner's response prevented a bad thing?.......Group hug's for a smart responsible sheepie ownier |
