I saw you were getting rain today.......it is heading toward us for tomorrow - in the form of a ton of SNOW!!!!!
I can't wait - Chewie may get to actually go MUSHING, not just carting!! |
i love it!!!! the only drawback is my sissy girl who refuses to go potty on wet grass.....ewwwww....God forbid.....so i go and stand on the grass till she pees......sigh......
i thought it was a beautifully warm rainy day |
OMG!!!
Your girl does that too, Darcy? Samantha simply will NOT pee on wet grass. She had to find some place dry so not to irritate her delicate tush. Usually she went on the (covered) patio requiring a hose squirt cleanup. Hubby solved the problem by getting a square of astroturf which stays dry in the fog/rain/etc. Samantha hasn't figured out that it isn't real grass yet. The littlest one just runs out between the drops of rain, squats quick and dashes back into the house...bringing her muddy feet with her, naturally. |
Oh yeah Jean, Panda totally hates getting her feet wet. Last night at 10 pm, im standing in the rain with my robe and slippers on telling panda to get off the porch and come do her business....if i can be in hte rain so can she....sheesh....then the chickie has the audacity to hold up her paws for a dry off afterward.....lol.....
Thats my princess |
Rain is the worst thing ever here because it comes down FREEZING. Brrr... hope we don't have another week of that. I hate rain. |
We had rain and flooding yesterday and last night. We don't have very good drainage here in the Desert.
It's amazing though, we have not had a drop of rain since a small sun shower that lasted maybe 10 minutes over the summer and before that, well I can't even remember the last time. So it was very nice to get some rain and be able to shut the sprinklers off for 24 hrs. Over the summer Hayley got to experience rain for the first time that she can remember. She was dancing in the rain. When she woke up yesterday and found out it was raining she said, "Mommy, I need to hurry up and get dressed so I can dance in the rain!!" I told her, "No, you have to get dressed and go to school." When I came to pick her up at school we were walking to the car. I turned out because she was not next to me like she normally is. She was spinning around on the sidewalk....dancing. It's so funny how much she enjoys it. I told her when I lived on the East Coast, we hated rain, because it rains there a lot. But to my daughter is fun because it's not something that happens often The dogs were not happy at all, but at least my daughter got some amusement out of the rain. |
It sounds like Hayley had fun - I bet it was so cute!
We are on the freezing rain side of the storm now - yuck! I just got up a while ago, but it looks like we got 4-5 inches of snow, now freezing rain on top of that. I have to go to work soon - should be an interesting drive into town. I guess I will find out how my Element handles in this crap! |
