Good thing I took him in, though, because he also has an ear infection. I've been trying to keep a close eye on him...how could I have missed this? In any event, a message to all you new puppy owners: Make sure you clean the ears....look at them every day...check for signs that your pupper may not be just right. Poor guy, but at least he seems happier now that he's getting it taken care of! |

Oh Josh! Icky, icky! Our first cat came home with fleas (not Iris, the kitty I had as a kid) They were nearly impossible to get rid of, once they were in the house. You may have to flea bomb... Let us know how it goes. I'm glad kitty and Pooh are feeling better.

Josh,
Don't feel too bad - ear infections can easily be missed. If I'm not mistaken - labs are prone to ear infections (something about the way their ears hang) so you may have to be extra careful - particularly when Pooh gets wet. Kristen |
Yeah, I think we didn't properly prep his ears before his last bath.
So they are both on Frontline now and I spen about an hour picking dead fleas off of Pooh last night. They each got a pill which was supposed to kill anything on them within 30 minutes....pretty cool.... Last night was also a whirlwind of washing machine hell! I was doing so much laundry that at one point I walked back into the kitchen to find a 1/2 inch of water covering the floor and in the laundry room. Lost a fitting on the back of the washer where the water discharge is....man oh man...what a clean up! |
