Just ate a cheese wrapper, should I be concerned?

Not me...the dog.

I just made a grilled-cheese sandwhich for lunch and while I was eating it I heard Milton getting into something.

I went into the Kitchen and he was downing what was left of the plastic wrapper that cheese slices come in. They were Kraft slices in case anyone cares :?

Anyway, is this a big deal? I'm thinking it's not but figured I'd check on here to make sure. I'm more surprised he didn't choke on it !

Thanks all

Oh, how sheepies teach us to pick up after ourselves
It seems like it should pass okay but I'm not a vet.

If he were mine, I'd give him a couple slices of bread to help
things move along. Unless he has some type of food allergy.
If it were my oes, I wouldn't think a thing b/c it was so small, but that's just what I'd do ........have no idea what a vet would say. ;)
Are these dogs closet clean freaks???????? :D :D :D

Mine seem to think they are hairy garbage disposals....

I'm with the crowd who thinks this too shall pass  Mostly because I've seen worse. But we're not vets and it's always hard to say for sure, so just watch carefully for any signs that suggests he has an upset stomach.

I don't think Sybil has eaten anything peculiar yet today. Still, the night is young...

Hopefully this too will pass. Yeah, a couple slices of bread with butter ought to push it along.

They are strange eatin' machines........I rescued Hershey Kiss wrappers from going down the throat today.........that would have been a colorful poop!
Im sure it will pass too. Mine have passed my husbands socks so I think a cheese wrapper will be fine. It is small neough and will crumble into a ball in the intestines anyway.

lol my Chewy use to swallow socks when we were not looking and they normally came out the way they went in. Chewy has gotten into all kinds of things that scared me to death from wicker baskets to inner tubes (we came home to a flat dolly and a shredded inner-tube in the yard) The only thing I have heard sometimes smooth items can stick to the walls (they create a suction like deal) that being said I would think a wrapper would be safe and tend to agree with everybody that you should just keep an eye on him for a while
What don't these dogs eat?? He'll probably be just fine based on my experiences with Max. Last winter Max ate a fleece glove, day after day he was normal in his habits, after a week he threw up the glove, it looked the same as it did when he ate it, except it was icky!! I'm wondering what was the glove doing for a whole week inside a sheepdog??? Anyway, I watch him like a hawk, he loves paper wrappers and napkins, pretty much anything he shouldn't have
