Wow. That just goes to show ya how little I know about what is on the air! LOL
Fascinating that The Office was in for 30 shows for the season! NBC sure does try to capitalize on their successes. Ellen is being bucking the trend? That surprises the heck out of me. Look at how many shows on CW have chosen to cross the picket lines. I can tell you what the new lineup will be come January: NBC: Monday-Friday: Deal or no deal, 8 to 11PM. ABC: Monday-Friday: Who Wants to be a Millionaire, 8 to 11PM. CBS: Monday-Friday: Survivor:West Hollywood, 8 to 11PM. Some cable channel: Monday-Friday:Behind the Scenes:writer's strike, 8:13 to 11:09PM |

Guess I'll be renting all those movies I always wanted to see!!!!!!!!!!! |
Or you'll be able to watch the shows (in repeat) you didn't want to watch in the first place. |
Geez, I know I don't watch much tv but most of these shows I've never heard of. |

Maybe if Carson Kressley can get involved because it'll need to get gayed up a lot more to make Bravo's lineup! I don't know--it's Hollywood, I'm sure they'll find enough to make a good story! It didn't sound like the CW was crossing the picket line--it just sounded like they are finishing up the shows that have already been written. As for Ellen, there was a big to-do about this when she decided to continue. She said she supports the writers, but that her show isn't like the late night shows with Jay Leno and David Letterman--she's in syndication and it could end her show for good if she went off the air for the strike--plus she wanted to support the other crew members--who are all being laid off on all the shows that are stopping production. I just hope they end the strike soon. It's not good for anyone. |
