Flowers left on my doorstep
Bending down to pick it up, I notice the floral shop is in Ocean Park. Hey! The person I had the disagreement with lives there! AWWW, she should have spent the money on pets instead and I wasn't that mad. I smile and feel better and bring them into the house. I open the card and it's from my union offering sympathies and condolences. Whazzat? I check the card and my address...yup name and address are correct but who the heck died? I know it's a mistake so I get the phone book to call them and tell them of the error. Phone rings and it's a woman named Carole from the union office apologizing for the mistake, and said flowers have been sent again to the right person. Please keep the flowers and enjoy them! Anyone that knows me ...knows I beg and plead not to send me flowers as I always prefer a bag of kitty or doggy food instead..LOL! This was a treat and funnier still...the woman I had the disagreement with also happens to be named Carole. Think a bit of Karma was at play here. Marianne |

It gets funnier regarding the flowers. I mentioned this on my Small Animal Rescue forum which is in my local area. Someone responded with ...hey you work for School District....and the womans name was ....!!! I was astounded how she knew, until she pm'd me that she places the orders for the district and had to reorder flowers again. Her and I are both involved in bunny rescue as well and chat frequently on the forum but didn't realize we both worked for the same employer. LOL Small world! Marianne |
