Chewie is such an awesome puppy, turning into an awesome dog. I am so proud of him - he is everything I possibly could want and dream of! He also did a wonderful job with Gabby carting - they ran 5.7 miles pulling the cart and a person yesterday - they rock! |

| No steak - just the van with Linda videotaping them.
They were still ready to go more too - we were done and had the brakes locked on the cart - and they started dragging it down the road. |

They ran (really ran) for most of the distance. Donaven had hoped they would go about 7 mph - that is the standard distance rate that sled dogs do at a brisk trot. These crazy boys were averaging 8-10 mph instead. They just waned to run, and run and run.......
I swear they look at each other, and just grin and fly! They really are best friends. Another funny thing they do is at the weight pulls, Chewie barks and cheers Gabby on when he is pulling. Chew just lays there, all nice and quiet when other dogs pull. As soon as he sees it's Gabby up there, he gets all crazy and barks for him! |
