Don't stress out overnight. I am sure it isn't life threatening...but you may want to hold off on the alergy meds in case it's a reaction to them. Just get her in tomorrow as soon as you can.
There are a lot of great vets out here...this stuff always happens on Sundays...just make sure she is drinking. |
Thanks! She is drinking and eating everything fine. We haven't given her the allergy medication yet, we want to make sure she is able to keep her food down first. I am going to call the vet in the morning. Hopefully it is nothing..... |
let us know how it turned out |
We've been keeping an eye on it all day yesterday, and it honestly seems to have gone down drastically. I am really beginning to think it was from her allergic reaction and it was a welt from a bite. Still going to keep an eye on it for a couple more days. hopefully it will continue to disappear!! |
I live in the High Desert outside of L.A. Where are all these sheepies in L.A.? Hope the bump is still getting better. |
We have two sheepies actually. We live in Glendale. But I haven't seen any other oes around....
The bump actually is completely gone now, I think it must have been due to the allergy incident. It was either from a bit or part of the reaction, thank goodness, but it gave us quite a scare!!! She is doing so much better too! Jumping and attacking her little brother (Oliver) as much as possible. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n11/ ... ies011.jpg |
Very cute picture. Our Nigel is almost 6 months now...and is an only dog. The cats don't want to play much. We tried to adopt a big OES sis for him, but she didn't work out. Glad the bump is gone...she could have even crashed into something. |
