Our Sweet Chelsea "Chelbear"
She was showing symptoms of Bloat and My mother had rushed her to the vet. Within 30 minutes of this happening Chelsea went into Cardiac Arrest and passed away before the vets could do anything for her. She was a special needs dog and did have medical conditions but nothing could prepare us for this sudden loss. It's been very hard for me to work without her in my studio by my feet. I miss her following me around all day and night to whichever room I was in. I miss her lying by my feet. I miss her wet nose and her sheepie kisses. I miss her wiggles and her hugs. I miss the sound of her toes on the tile. Matisse walks around the house most of the day looking for her and crying. It's been very hard on us all. It's very hard for me to even sit here and type without crying. I'm very proud of my mother giving this rescue angel a second chance in life. We all miss her very much. I'm devistated and in shock. I didn't get the chance to say goodbye to her...... Michelina~ |

| So sorry Michelina for the loss of Chelsea, what a wonderful sweetheart she has been for you all. Always so sad and tragic when one of our fur babies has to go, sending loads of sheepie hugs and blessings for darling chelsea and thinking of you all at this very sad time. Poor matisse too, give him a hug from us too and I hope he does not fret too much, I truly believe they do and need special care & attention after one of their best furry friends leaves it always leaves such a void in everyones hearts.

| Seeing all of the responses and condolences hurts, and yet helps. I know I'm not alone.
I've lost animals along the way since I was a child and I've never reacted to a loss like I have with Chelsea. The amazing thing is I feel like it's because I didn't get to say goodbye that I can't accept this happened....I want to give her a hug and I can't.
I can't thank you enough for your words are very comforting at this very difficult time. She definitely changed all of our lives in this household since she moved in with Terry (mom). Thank you all for your support and kindness. |
| I am so sorry that you lost your sweet sheepie Chelsea. I know exactly how you feel about not being able to say goodbye. We were away on holiday when our beloved Daisy went to the bridge and that is the hardest thing to come to terms with. The pain does get slightly easier with time - although I know that is hard for you to believe right now. I still miss my Daisy so much but I can also now start to remember the good times we had too and I know she is watching us, as is Chelsea I'm sure.
Give Matisse a big hug and a kiss from me and try to focus on the good times you shared. |
