I know it's a long name - but I love giving my animals strange names... and actually calling them by it. I even give them full names. My cream point Himalayan: Mr. Toji Halifax My seal point Himmie: Mr. Kiley Frisken My mog: Mr. Tigger McCurry Is that weird? |

Fimbrethil! I love it- just gorgeous. I'm a huge Tolkein fan. Will it be "Fimby" for short? I love interesting pet names! After naming my first cat (urk) "Big Boy", I vowed never again to choose humdrum names.... Although my sister tells me that there a a bazillion "Bell"s out there. I keep telling her that there may be a million "Belle"s but there is only one "Bell". Heh heh, good thing too!
Are both your new kitties/kitty to be himilayans? Karen |
I also like interesting names! Enjoy it while you can though, when you have kids you get to deal with the kids choosing the names and end up with something you really don't care for.
My blue point himmie was name Lapis Lazuli. My parents had bought me a beautiful girl, when we took her in to be spayed, we found out that Lapis was a boy. His name stayed Lapis though. Oh, and Lapis Lazuli is a blue gem stone, that is why he had that name. Let us know when Kiley comes home, it will be an exciting time. Stormi and co. |

Halifax is with me right now - I've had him since July 10th. ^_^ He was my belated (sp?) birthday present from my fiance... I was soooo happy to get him! My little Kiley will be comming home in late November. I can't wait to have him here so Halifax has someone to play with. Tigger isn't much of a playmate for Halifax - mostly because he is an old man. But I looooove him anyways. He was my first baby - about 11 years ago. I dunno... I think Fimby would be a cool short name - we shorten Halifax's name down to Hali sometimes - but not often. |
