WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!! I'm doing the HAPPY DANCE BIG TIME. My clinical hours for the semester are OVER. Thanks to an unusually large number of MVA's this weekend I have now meet my patient requirements for the semester WOOOOHOOOOOO. So far I have put 140 hours of clinical time in PLUS my normal Ambulance shifts (and working). But other than my normal coverage I am DONE TIL JANUARY!!!!!!!!! You can't imagine how HAPPY I AM!!! This is the last week of classes then I have amonth to prepare for the State skills and written exam (the week of Dec 8th) I put in 40 hours of clinical time this past week alone (in addition to my regular job) in the hope that I could finish up and I did it!!! I just got home from my usual 48 hour shift at my own Ambualnce and I'm thinking aobut just going to bed and watching TV for the REST OF THE DAY Doug wants to go out to celebrate but I'm too tireds. Plus I won't really celebrate till the State exam is over |

I love the "thanks to an unusually large number of MVA's" - hopefully none were too serious........ |

Ghoulish I know......... but this is basically a trauma course so I HAD to have a specific number of "major" traumas. Luckily I think everyone in all "my" accidents will be ok (thanks of course to my excellent care ) although there were some pretty spectacular accidents. From Friday to this morning there were 5 in my my area, I don't think I've ever seen so many in one weekend. One common denominator, THREE were YOUNG girls who were at fault!!!! You always hear it is the boys that are bad drivers but the girls do the STUPIDEST things!!! |
Congratulations on getting your hours in, and good luck on the state exams. You'll do great!!!! |
Congratulations! |
Congrats. Now a short nap. |

Yea, I really didn't do much yesterday, laundry and watching TV with some knitting thrown in. I woke up this morning with a WRETCHED cold, I think it's all catching up But better a cold THIS week than last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I meet with my preceptor tonight to get signed off on everything, tomorrow is my last class and I had in all my paperwork (it's a stack aolmost 4 inches high ). Then all I have to do is study study study. |
I am amazed at your stamina!! Great to hear that you've got a little time to relax and recouperate before it starts again. |
Way to go, Ginny!!! |

**sniff** Ive missed you! |
Congratulations, Ginny! We all KNEW you could do it!! At least now you have the time to nurse that cold as you prepare for the tests. |
