I am so in love and just ordered some more from amazon since they're cheaper online than at the store. All are 3pts weight watchers (whatever that means, just sharing in case you were wondering). high in fiber no artificial flavors or sweeteners high in protein low glycemic very high in calcium and super rich in antioxidants Super recommended for women. Not sure why, but the website also states good for your breasts. Hmm.. Well, that's good (probably the antioxidants) More filling than many snacks I eat. Yum, Yum.. peanut butter with this white chocolate bottom, cookies n' cream, strawberries n'cream, and chocolate pecan are my favorites. Oh wait, they're the only ones I've tried so far. Can't wait to try the other flavors. |

No artificial sweetners and they're still really good?? I'll have to try them. I really love the Zone nutrition bars (chocolate mint, chocolate peanutbutter, and chocolate caramel cluster are really good), but they have quite a bit of sugar in them. Some of those bars are supposed to be meal replacement type food, but I just eat them for a snack in the afternoon. They've got lots of vitamins, and they're still only around 150 - 210 calories, which is way less than other snack food. We (me & coworkers) used to go downstairs to Starbucks for a snack, until I looked up the pumpkin loaf and saw that it's 400 calories!! Eek! |
Their website mentions that as commonly asked questions, and they say they sweeten their products with some sort of organic brown rice syrup. This one isn't supposed to be a meal supplement, but like you said... it's bigger than 2 small cookies (the kind from a bag like oreos) which is usually 200 calories, so it's worth it to me. |
I like Luna bars. They actually make a few without nuts (which is nearly impossible to find in bars like this)...The chocolate mint (I think) and the s'mores are good. The calories are relatively good, too, since a lot of the bars have over 200 and these I've seen about 170-210. I think because they aren't meal replacements that's why they're a little less... |
How much are the fat & sugar grams per bar? |
Fat: 5
Sugar: 9 Considering a cup of cereal usually has 11, I think that's great. And none of that fat is trans fat. And I thought I read all the bars had 180 calories, but I guess I am wrong. |
I just went to the website. I guess you're right about the 180 calories. I looked at one when I was at the Nordstrom coffee bar yesterday and I could have sworn it said 170. Oh well, it's me being absent-minded lately. |
