I am trying to "line brush" her and I think I am doing it correctly. I have read and seen all the information on it.....but I have a question..... Right after I brush her I run my fingers through her coat down to the skin and she feels wonderful.... If I go back about an hour later and do the same thing, the outside hair feels as good as the first time...BUT if I feel down to her skin, it almost feels matted...but its not...its kind of curly... I am assuming this is the beginning of her big girl coat..is this right???? Also, she is graying on her hind legs..do they gray from back to front??? Does it happen THIS early??? I thought she would be black until about 9-12 months. And finally, is there any correlation -- if she is maturing early.. (coat and color) does that mean she will go into heat earlier???? Thanks for all the help..................... |

yes for the most part they grey from back to front. obe's ears started to grey not long after the hind legs started. as for a time frame each dog is different. some change early and the change is fast some take forever (obe is taking his sweet time in the change). the going in heat i have no idea. hope this info helps some. sorry did not fell like capitalizing |
