My curiousity is peeked! I couldn't open the site - your url is fine just my computer acting up. Can you tell me a bit about it? I'm so curious as to what it actually is.

Marianne The web site shows a very nice obstacle course, set up so that it allows a "lure" (looks like the back half of a skunk mixed with a raccoon ) to travel the entire course, enticing the dog to follow. Same concept as a greyhound track only through obstacles. The description says most any dog can be convinced to go through tunnels or over jumps (haven't met my dog) The original course was invented for Jack Russells, but the photos on the sight show many breeds, running, jumping, and smiling. No Sheepies in the mix, but they do have one Beardie. Hope your computer starts behaving and you get the chance to see the web site. It's worth it just to see the photos that have been captured from the course. |
Looks like lots of fun! |
Indeed it looks like fun for dog and spectators. This is where soundness in structure would be critical.......I'm watching thinking about torn ACLs and such. None of my orthopedic disasters could do the course, but their hearts would sure make them try!
Wonder how many take the high road over the tunnels? |
I finally had a chance to see it!!! I really enjoyed watching it and all those happy expressions on both uprights and dogs alike just made me smile!
I've only seen flyball which is also amazing to watch. Blue and Shaggy in their younger days would have loved it. Panda unfortunately would not be a candidate with his bad hips and Merlin would just pay another dog to take his place. Marianne |
