Lost dog walks 7 miles to find his home

| Those stories are so amazing. How they can smell their way that far is just incredible.
A couple weeks ago, my husband was backing out the driveway, and saw a loose dog wandering around. He thought...."hmmm, he looks familiar, who is that?" He got out and got the dog and looked at his collar. It was Sarge! Sarge and his family moved about 3 miles away TWO YEARS AGO! So we called our old neighbors, they'd gone out of town overnight and their neighbor was keeping an eye on Sarge but he got out. Can you imagine - he has lived in that house for 2 years, but went looking for his family at the old house, 3 miles away! We were just stunned. Sarge spent the night with us and went home the next day. |
