Looks like I broke my wrist...
Fell yestrday - self diagnosed a sprain because of the swelling. Couldn't sleep last night because of the thumping and pain.... called the doc- had xrays. The end of the radius and a portion of the ulna is broken. I'll see an Orthopedic surgeon in the morning to have it set. Most likey a cast- although right now it is wrapped and imobilized. ((sigh)) |

| Broken wrists suck, I'm sorry that happened to you. I've broken my two wrists a combined total of 12 times and mine snap like twigs now that the bones have been set and reset so many times. I feel for you! |
Don't forget to ask the doctor if you will be able to play the violin when the cast comes off.  |

for the next 5-6 weeks. Couldn't have happened at a worse time! I am in the middle of making a Cinderella costume for Skyler and a mouse costume for Little baby Alayna.... <sigh> |

Zippers and buttons grrrrrrr. Heal soon. Luckily (??) my left wrist is the one that is broken, and I am right handed. The orthopedic surgeon also noticed a small fracture in my shoulder - but thinks it is a clean , small problem that will heal on it's own with the limited use of my hand / arm for the next few weeks. He wants me to stay in the sling as much as possible. Yeah- right. I am traveling next week for work- and of course- there are still the nieces costumes to finish. Where there is a will... there is a way.... Like typing this post--- <ouch> |

You should see my hair... I blew it dry this morning- but that was about the extent of it. When I asked John to help me use the straight iron and then use a texturizing putty for volume and lift- I knew I had went too far.  Thank goodness I can practice tomorrow. He is really happy that I am concerned about the important things like my hair and makeup.
Max has been so concerned. Right now he is laying here- all snuggled up and licking my exposed fingers. He wins my vote for the best care giver. John hasn't even TRIED to lick my fingers yet.  |

Supposedly and I do mean Supposedly....The husbands are supposed to want to give you foot or back rubs.....need to tell ya....hasnt happened yet........ AND.... if he sees me DOING something that i shouldnt AND SAYS "here babe, let me get that.." I want it done right then and there...NOT an hour from now or tomorrow......sheesh.....no wonder i have fantastic rotation on my arm so early.....im doing everything EXCEPT giving myself my own backrubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oops sorry lor....i kinda lost track.....max deserves some more cheese!! |
