I looked at it but too messy for an OES! Their legs and beard would be minging! george is bad enough with a Bonio!

Its not a diet that I would feed a pet dog who was living indoors but in saying all of that I don't really know alot about it! :o
i just looked at my avatar and yours..

alfie is REALLY black compared to most OES'

he is a lot more grey now, but still

We need new Alphie photos! (Hint)
I cook for my boys. Boni gets really dirty but by now he learnt to come to me after dinner to wash his face. :D He hates it when I do it but I suppose it's a routine for him now.

When George was younger he was black but turned grey and now hes almost white.

Alfie just has alot more black on him than some other OES! He's cute and unique!
Laika is on a completely raw diet. Best thing I ever did; she had very bad Diarrhea for her first 6-8 months changed her diet has been very healthy. She has been on it for over 6 months for sure. I don't find it messy. Usually just wipe her mouth with a face cloth.
ive posted a new pic of alfie on my gallery

might take a while for admin approval

he's a lot more grey than he was
He is pretty cute! He sits exactly the same way as he sits on your avatar. :D

yeah he always sits like that.. he has pretty good posture actually but his back leg sometimes hangs out and he kinda sits on top of it, its funny

So what do you feed?

George is always very loose it might be better for him too.
i was thinking of feeding alfie ned (non educated delinquents) or hooligans as you might know them...

glasgow is rife with them, and he could do 1 a day...

...but then he'd probably just play with his food...

Ok, I just have to tell you...this confused the heck out of me, as here in Alaska we have a (small, oily) fish called a "hooligan", and I thought that was what you were planning to feed!  I was going to write back and say...ugh! bad dog breath!

Alphie's growing up to be a real doll! :hearts:
Interesting web site, did not know to much about a BARF diet. Not sure if I would switch Obe's diet. He eats Nature's Logic which is a very good food from what I have read on he internet.

Haha thats excellent... sorry about the confusion..
I recently read an article about BARF diet in a health magazine. This is what this woman wrote:

''We feed our dogs raw chicken and beef. We follow the BARF diet (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food- or bones and raw food). Our eleven year old sheltie had food allergies- her back was very itchy. This disappeared within weeks of going on the BARF diet. Our five year old hound had constant diarrhea when we got him. The Barf diet cleared that up in a week. Both dogs cannot wait for dinnertime of raw organic chicken necks and back.''

''Their breakfast consits of organic applesauce, probiotic yogurt and flax oil mixed with ground veggies... their bowls are always licked clean.

Every three weeks, I grind up a variety of vegetables and freeze them in daily portions (apples, carrots, celery, romaine lettuce, ginger, garlic, spinach, bananas and parsley )''

I hope this helps ...
Isn't garlic on the list of forbidden foods?
