Canine Companions for Independence
CCI trains doggys to assist disabled people so that they can continue to live independently in society. Its a nationwide non profit organization. We have raised over 100 dollars in donations so far for this walk and would appreciate any help offerred. Please email me privately if you can sponsor us. I will give you my adderss but checks are made out to the organization CCI. We will do our best to get to the finish line! Thanks and we send our licks! I just edited my post when I realized I forgot to giev the link! I hope I did it right. It's www.cci.org I am in NY so its the Northeast region. Sorry, not that computer savy! Its the event on october 13th at Farmindale college. We have been training for the walk. The minimum is a one mile lap - which is far with a 9 month old puppy! But we've been training at 1/2 mile for months...We promise to get to the finish line!!!! Thanks for any support - even if its a cheering section thru this site the day of the event!!! Diane |
