oh my he looks so scared .. poor boy |
OMG.. that is so heartbreaking....... |
If a rescue group will take him in, and a 4/5 hour drive transport can be arranged, I know of a home that could foster him. |
Bless him...if he could only talk....someone adopt him please! |
Poor dog, he looks petrified. |
Gosh this is breaking my heart I sure wish we could adopt him. He's so cute and needs to be loved!!! |
poor poor baby |
Can anyone help w/ transport?
rec'd this from Paws Awhile Rescue in TX. we can take him... can someone up there pull and we can get a transport arranged to san atnonio tx? we have a groomer, waiting as well as a warm bed and lots of love until we get him to his forever home!!! Heather |
Bless you for that! I wish I was closer. If I had the time, I would make the trip...but it would take 4 days at least... |
I am so glad someone is able to help him, he reminds me of Chopin when I first got him, scared and hidden like that, whoever gets him and wins his trust will have more love and devotion than they could imagine; I speak from experience, the sweet thing, I wish I had room for two |
Any updated on Fluffy? |
UPDATE
Yes, that dog was picked up!!!!!! Yea!!!! Thank you so much for getting back to me. It helps a lot to have one less to worry about. G/A Granny, I called the Richland County pound this morning at 11:30 and the desk girl told me that some local adopters were most probably going to take him...If you would like to call the pound again and verify that just to be sure, I would sure appreciate knowing that what she told me was correct...419-774-5892 . Thanks for your concern... Amanda |
Oh, I'm so happy! I do hope everything works out for Fluffy. |
Bless him, he'd do well at ours, he's the sort of dog I like to bring on.
I hope his adopters are in it for the long term, he could take months to come around. |
THEY RETURNED HIM!!!
His time is short there now & they use gas! |

His time is short there now & they use gas! I was afraid of that. He looks so scared, he will really need a special home. |
Was he returned because he wasn't the companion dog they had hoped for or because of aggression? If he's non-aggressive I think there's hope for him with a patient, loving and understanding family. Medication during the transition might be wise. |
This is sooo sad. He just looks terrified. Any updates? |
feelin sick about this poor guy .. dang i wish i was closer my dolly i rescued 12 years ago was llike that it took me years too let her pet me but now she sleeps in my bed and a lover ............ |
Fluffy inspired quite an outpouring, WOW!
The emails were getting messy because there were so many people wanting to help Fluffy but sometimes it takes a bigger team to get help. http://marilynsvoice.org/about.php A puppy mill rescue in Ohio named Marilyn's Voice is stepping up for Fluffy. I will keep you all posted on Fluffy. I understand this is a wonderful rescue! Sue |
I was getting worried about him.
I am so happy he is getting out of the shelter. |
I believe that is is already out. I will find out for sure. |
Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into this fellow, Sue. It takes a lot of persistence and follow-ups and computer time to get things rolling and keep on top of them.
I am so glad this guy is saved. Great work to all involved! |
That's wonderful Sue
Thanks so much for helping him get to a safe place!! They do sound like a wonderful rescue. Read the "about us" page. |
here is an email from the rescue, in case anyone wants to donate towards his care. thx, sue
Hello, Sue! We did, indeed, save Fluffy (now Boomer)! What a special little boy! Our rescue works primarily with puppy mill rescues and in the short time I"ve known little Boomer, he certainly is a victim of just that. He is also quite sick, with a lung infection, runny nose, horribly matted fur, flea infestation, and after all of that is cleared up... he needs to be neutered. We will also likely have him quite some time due to his emotional issues. We want him to go to his new home feeling as secure as possible and, with mill dogs, that takes a lot of time. Thank you so much for your interest in supporting Boomer! I'm sure his vet bills will mount but he sure is worth it! You can make donations through our website, www.MarilynsVoice.org on the "donate" link. Right now he is at the vets being well looked after. As soon as he's ready, he'll enter a loving foster home where he can continue to get well physically and emotionally. Cindy |
sue thanks for the update.. i have a dog like that dolly she is now 12 and when i got her as a pup you could not touch her very sick all the same problems it took her years to get out of her shell now she is the sweetest, and what a lover.. probably the best girl i ever had.. sad thing is she is ready too croos over infected with cancer but she still is lovin' ... |
