Ralph got into some frozen corn today and ate the bag while we were gone. And some lavandar that was on the counter:? Do you think this will be a problem? |

LOL! If corn is not part of his diet, yes it will be a bother. Also that much vegetable could be troublesome. Around here, that wouldn't be a big deal, nor the lavender chaser. But then my sheepdogs generally have cast iron stomachs.......especially Jack. |
Are we talking niblets or whole corn on the cob?
For niblets, I don't think it is a life-threatening situation; it is probably more of a carpet-threatening situation. If it is on the cob then I'd be a little more concerned and watching him closely for any signs of distress in being able to pass everything through. If the results you get in either case are a LACK of bowel movements, I'd be concerned, but I would be expecting diarrhea at first. After diarrhea, it is not uncommon to go a day or so before another movement. Lavender should be safe. Sorry this happened, but I'm glad you found us! |
how is he feelin this morning? so he can open up freezers
welcome from fla |
Ralph is doing well today. We're seeing corn evidence :-} and some soft stool. It was corn niblets. I was using them to ice my sprained knee (running and falling at the dog park) and forgot to put them back before we left the house. He's smart, but not THAT smart. |
