What I always do is just type XXL (or XXL) dog clothes into google or something of that nature. J-B Pets online sells certain outfits in our dog size. It depends on the dog company (regarding sizes). Ebay works too. |
Several of Annie's "costumes" have just been adorable headbands that are for people or kids. It's hard to keep them on their heads, so you could sew on some elastic for under their chins. Most of these are just for my own amusement and photo opportunity. Just a thought if you come across some

Yes, if you do an online search you'll get lots of sites that sell pet outfits. I'm pretty sure they'll ship to anywhere. Plus, I know Target and PetCo sell them, but I don't know if you have those in the UK. Plus, I'm not sure if their outfits would fit a full grown sheepie.
You could just make them like Stacy suggested. I really wanted to find a miniature red and white Dr.Seuss hat and bowtie for my cat... he would be the perfect cat in the hat! However, I haven't found it yet so maybe I'll have to make mine too (transform a kid costume maybe) |
My boys, unfortunately, are way too big for most XXLs. Make sure you measure your dog first and use that as a guide. Some places consider a Westie "large." |
Hello! This is <insert your dog's name here>. I am a dog. I don't like shirts, pants, capes, hats. Neither do my friends. If you buy me clothes, or try to dress me up, I will hate you. I may pee on your good rug. I may even steal the Thanksgiving turkey when you aren't looking. When you go to the store, and are holding that Bat Man costume, think to yourself, is embarassing me worth the cost of a new couch?
I suggest you spend the energy dressing up the cat. Or yourself. Or that little two-legger than runs around the house disturbing my peaceful life. Love, <insert your dog's name here>. |
Party supply shops usually have great stuff for dress up. I am addicted to finding anything to use. So does what you have at home in tops etc eg. of my craziness.
Party shop hat and Mask. (Hairy Potter) Bunny my jumper and Party Shop bunny ears. Valentines - my nightie & Made the Heart wear out of cardboard & the garter on her leg is a hair scrunchie. You don't need to spend and buy specific dog costumes, with a bit of imagination you can use things around home and party shop supply places for a few dollars they have fun stuff to add to costumes. |
