I don't dig the beard/mustache on this guy, but I LOVE a southern gentleman, and that's exactly what he is! Combined with being from Texas, that all equals hot stuff for me! Makes me forget about his "nothing to drool over" face. However, by the reactions from the other gals, I got a feeling he looks good in person. His smile is contagious. I got goosebumps several times! Lots of crazy girls, which is awesome. I can't believe the drunk blonde lost her boob on the floor. Then when he lost it talking about the girl who has webbed toes. I did notice his choice of girls differs a lot from the last guy who had girls who were all doctors or some sort career like that. The majority this time seem to be realtors or models. I look forward to when they bring in his identical twin. Should be a funny episode! |

One of my friends was on this! Haha she totally embarrassed herself! |
Ummmmmmmm..................... you're going to leave me hanging like this? Who was it? Surely not the drunk who lost her boob? |
haha she was the pretzel girl |
LMBO, are you kidding.
That is hysterical. The bachelor was like "that's not something you pull out on the 1st date.......maybe the 10th date. i knew i should be turned on by something like that, but i just didn't know what to think" That's okay. There were plenty of girls who topped it all. I mean, who gets in the pool and says "take off your pants" the first night. She wants his b-o-d-y. She IS pretty. Actually, he seemed to boot all the average chicks. The ladies seem to be a lot prettier this season. That's so cool you know someone who was on the show. Did she get to kiss him? |
I used to love this show (I watched it back with Aaron and Bachelor Bob)! I haven't had as much time for tv, so I haven't seen the latest episodes. I do think those people are a little nuts though, for being so completely obsessive about a guy they hardly know and who has been dating 20 other people the entire time they've been dating. Ha! It's especially funny when they first meet him and start talking about their timeline for kids
Anyway, what do you mean she "lost" her boob??? Did she have something stuffed in her shirt that fell out? What night does this show come on? |
probably one of those chicken cutlet thingers....they work fantastic!!!!
oh did i say that out loud |
Yeah, what darcy is thinking of. Looks like an actual gel boob. It was found on the floor. When someone gave it to her, she stuffed it back in and said "I had been looking for this thing for 2 hrs" or something like that.
It came on last night from 8:30-10 pm. Not sure what time it will come on regularly. After Dancing with the Stars, basically. |
Joahaeyo wrote: That's so cool you know someone who was on the show. Did she get to kiss him? She couldn't tell us any details last week, but if I catch her at school today I'll try and get some dirt! I was totally embarrassed for her until I saw the girl who lost her boob, that girl was nuts! |
Okay, a lot of the girls look alike this time. At the rose ceremony, half the girls were wearing a turquoise colored dress. What is your friend's name that is on the show? I couldn't for the life of me figure out who did the pretzel last time. I narrowed it down to either the girl who has been divorced [wore black] or one of the girls in a turquoise dress.
This bachelor comes off a little dumb by how he talks. I'm hoping it's just from being a southern boy w/an accent who just verbally isn't good at saying the right things.... There were a lot of boys at my school who talked JUST like him. I liked that he didn't give a rose to the girl who jumped in the pool the first night!!! |
Mrs J.,
Stephanie and I have got your back in the reality show category! I have come to the conclusion that we are all reality junkies...The Hills, Bachelor, Real World, etc. I have a feeling this bachelor isn't the brightest of them all, and maybe his brothers just included him in the family business adventures. But, he sure looks pretty good from working in the oil fields The girls do look very similar this time around.....maybe I should have some serious silicone work done and apply Only Finnigan would have to be allowed to come with me! |
I was bored out of my mind this episode. The twin is way more entertaining than the actual Bachelor.
I was making an assumption before, but now more than ever I think I've got the Bachelor pegged. He's so the guy who never "gets it" when it comes to girls. A girl can call him the day after a date, can then show up for his football practice, and he'd STILL come back to the house to ask his friends "Do you think she likes me?" (sincere about not knowing). His brother is someone who gets it. I had to force myself to stay up, and I still didn't make it to the rose ceremony. ....just the moments before it. The only time I woke up was to laugh hysterically over the "I knew the difference between you two because your twin doesn't have that blonde patch of hair on his ear." Oh my gosh, my husband would die from embarrassment if someone told him he had hair on his ear. Shave that hair man! I guess I have to look up who got the boot. I'm not fond of the girl who got the rose on the group date. The acupuncture chick (think that's what she does) |
I agree that the brother seemed alot cooler than the Bachelor, who seems like a simple minded dope to me. I can't stand acupuncture girl and I can't believe he gave a rose to the nurse who spent the entire date crying. There are still some good women in the mix but in general, his choices have left me gagging. |
Yea I'm not into him at all, he seems super boring.
The only girl I like is Sheena, I thought I liked some of the other girls but they all seem ditzy, boring, or catty. |
The Bachelor is getting cuter (face), but he's still the shy/not so good with words ...and that's not hot to me. He definitely wears his emotions on his sleeves. He's someone who likes all that mushy stuff. Shoot, he breaks down (falls for it) whenever a girl cries.
I missed the first part of the show, but I'm not a fan of the girl given the rose on the last date (the one where he had to choose to keep and get rid of someone). I think they both suck. I still hate the Acupuncture girl too. It's funny the girls are so jealous of Jenni. I like her so far. Not offended at all by the things the other girls don't like about her (bringing her portfolio, wanting the better girl to leave the competition, etc). |
I was so tired last night that I went to bed after Samanatha Who?
The commercials looked so good too. I did wake up 10 minutes into the show to see how much I dislike Petunia. She seems so insecure (by her jealousy). So what happened with Hillary (speaking of jealousy)? All I saw was the pool moment where he realized they're just friends, and she realized there was chemistry. Deanna seemed to be more interesting this episode, but as I said... I only saw a few minutes. Any info about last night's episode would be nice |
Hillary flipped out when she got kicked out, she was crying and saying she couldn't breathe... totally dramatic! He tried to tell her again that they were just too good of friends and she just didn't get it.
He kicked off Kristy too, but she was barely in the episode so it didn't really matter. The girls were all mad at Bettina for making a comment about how her one on one date wasn't as good as Sheena's. I don't think anyone likes her at all- and I don't blame them. The preview for next week showed her family giving the bachelor (haha i cant even remember his name- he sucks!) a really hard time. My boyfriend thinks DeAnna is really pretty, so naturally she is my least favorite |

I get the same way. Thanks for the update! Can't believe they're already meeting parents. The show seems to be moving fast. |
I don't think he'll last with any of them. I'm not in love with any of the girls; however, he seems to have the most fun with the phoenix dancer and deanna. I did like the dancer, but her habitual laughing drives me bonkers now. She's still a sweetheart, but agree with the Bachelor that they won't last long distance with her busy schedule and his...
Deanna is very pretty and likable, but their backgrounds seem very different, and they may clash (long-term not short-term). I hate this season but many of them have sucked or been slow. I only started to watch again because Mr J likes it. |
I realllllllly want to like this guy. He's from Texas and a good ol' southern boy, but man does he come off as a doofus.
I'm glad he got rid of the blonde brat. |
I've been so bored with this show that I almost turned it off the last 30 minutes of the finale. Glad I had it on in the background!!! He wears his heart on his sleeve, and I am very glad "in his head" he wants things perfect before making a commitment .......realizing he didn't quite feel the way the dates are designed to help you feel [in love]. That's about the only credit I'll give him.
Overall, the guy is a moron (personality). The guy never grew on me as I hoped he would. I tried so hard to like him. He said so many things that made me say WTH? ...as only an idiot would always find the need to state the OBVIOUS in the many deep conversations he had. I hate people like that. I felt like the ladies had to talk slow for him to get it!!! I guess as much as I dislike him, I didn't think he was a jerk for what he did. <shrugs> I have no doubt in my mind that in his contract, he is told to lead the ladies on until the end. You could tell from his own emotions at the finale... that it hurt him to have to tell these girls the truth. They have said many times he can't express his feelings, although we've seen Bachelors in the past who have... ........so he had to stick with it until the end. The ring thing is part of the show. We know that from past seasons, and from the season that the Bachelor chose not to propose at all even if they showed him "get" the ring. I don't doubt he had feelings for 1 or 2 girls, but when asked "choose one now..." he may have realized that there was nothing that would have worked for a lifetime which is what we all strive for. Up until the time he had to pick, I can't imagine him not giving it 100% as he has made it known over and over the only thing he cares about is finding true love. He comes off that way to me, so I'm glad he didn't settle. No reason to ...even if he wouldn't be some prize for me to take home. With that said, I forgot to watch the post show I heard Deanna let him have it and even that the Bachelor was a jerk. Wish I could have viewed it myself. I definitely agreed with Deanna's season finale speech, BUT just saw his side of it too. |
I never intended to watch it but caught a couple of episodes about halfway through. Then I happened to catch just the end of the final rose ceremony the other night. Then last night because there was nothing else on I watched After the Final Rose since it had ended the way it did.
I agree with you Jo about everything: 1) He is not very bright 2) He did the honorable thing - what he was saying last night but the girls were too stupid to catch on - is that with the 25 girls they presented him with he was not able to find love 3) He was totally acting on contractual agreements dictated by television ratings. That is why he couldn't even tell Jennie that he wasn't picking Deanna later So in the end I actually respect him for taking the heat and not mentioning that he was "contractually obligated" even though he was on the firing line and Chris Harrison (the host) egging on the hostile audience. Of course he would probably be sued if he did mention that he was legally bound not to act the way he did. |
