Very cool! Ive seen other pics of polar bears playing with dogs, here in Alaska...some of them taken by a wildlife photographer friend of mine. The bears can even form long term relationships with dogs and come back year after year! 
Unlike brown or black bears, polar bears are sometimes (it depends on where, and what the feeding conditions are) very social, and playful with one another too. Id love to see a friendly meeting of a sheepie and a polar bear, as (and you can see this in the pic just posted) Polar bears play EXACTLY like sheepdogs! 
Unfortunately, Polar Bears ARE also very predatory and unpredictable...So you wouldn't want to set up something like that on PURPOSE   |

That is cool. I've seen similar photos in National Geographic and heard their stories - it fascinates me.  |
