Been thinking about this for a long time
Is there a need? How do I find the dogs? How do I find the homes? Where do I get the money for vet bills and food and stuff? Where can I learn? I want to help. |

You don't mention where you are located, but I would recommend that you contact any of the people involved in rescue in your area. You can talk with them and find out what is involved in rescuing dogs. There's a lot of work to be done in rescue, and maybe you could start out by helping an existing program with transportation, grooming, dog evaluations or home visits?
