hurricane vs oes

OES won! We have been under Hurricane warnings all day and Samantha was so calm...I took her out whenever the gusts weren't too bad. We had gusts of 70mph. She didn''t care. I did take her for a walk today and figured that she would be a solid base for me! She did start getting stir crazy around 6 this evening and then our power went out. So I put her in the cratre and she slept a bit. The power came back about an hour ago and we are doing the happy dance!!!!

I'm so glad you both are doing well! Tell us more about your adoption!

Also, watch out for debris under Samantha's paws!
It was early this morning when I first read this post and I thought you were talking about a new hurricane named Samantha. LOL I got my kiddo to school and re read and it and I understand better.
I am glad to hear you are doing well.
Also, welcome to the forum. I can't wait to hear more about Samantha.
Stormi and co.
LOL! The way Sam gallops around here, it seems like there is a hurricane going thru the house! We adopted her from a local pet rescue center 2 weeks ago. She is fitting very nicely into our family. She has even stopped nipping at my son. The house breaking is going much better, she hasn't had too many accidents. Her favorite toys are tennis balls and my son's practice mini-soccer ball. Bad news is that she has discovered the beds......

That the best part!! They keep your feet warm during the winter.
If I lay just right I can fit all three dogs on the bed with me :D
althought I am shopping for a king size bed so we all fit better. Almost had one last monday but it started to rain hard and we would have had to have it in the back of the truck the rest of the day. :(
Hmmm...spo far she still likes her crate. I've had other dogs before (none crate trained) and they all liked to sleep on my feet. It is a comforting thing. Atleast it is for a 40 lbs dog, I know know about an 80 lbs dog!!! Since I live in Florida, there is only a 3 month period where you need a living blanket.
