What kind of rake did you get? |
Please don't say "Rake" to a New Englander at this time of year... |
I noticed that Bella was getting brown at the tips of the long hair over the weekend. At first I thought it was just the lighting until I held some in my band. Is this a normal batr of the coat change? |

A lot of times, the puppy hair turns reddish brown at the ends from being out in the sun. It's like a hair sunburn, so to speak. |
I would love to see a picture of the rake, or at least have a brand name.
We have a brush that looks like a curry(sp.?) comb for a horse, but it's useless. Thanks |

We have a brush that looks like a curry(sp.?) comb for a horse, but it's useless. Thanks It doenst have a name on it, of all places I got it at Walmart. It's not the type that has blades in it to strip the undercoat, but it glides nicely through and matts and it doesnt pull. I have been trying all types of pin brushes, combs etc. I find that if I use this rake first and then use the metal comb all his matts and knots are gone. With one exception, i have a lot of trouble with his paws and matting. |
Thank you so much. I'm on a quest!
I have the most trouble around Maudie's hips |
