All the other dogs I know hop a mile over to avoid it. Wilbur just doesn't seem to care. And he doesn't groom himself. Any ideas how I train my year old dog to pee properly? I am this close to shaving the backs of his front legs. He stinks! And I don't have any towels left... |

Harry does not lift his leg at all he squats. But every once in a while he hits the back of one his front legs, usually when he is turning his body while peeing. I use baby wipes to clean off the back of his leg. It does a pretty good job and I figured they are meant to clean the same stuff for babies. We use them on his butt too if he ends up with residue.
I know your frustration though because Harry seems to have pee on the front leg cycles. We also take baby wipes in the car so that we can clean him up when we are out on adventures and we have definitely had to use them. Hang in there! |
