what do y'all think? 1 Stick margarine 3 tsp. pineapple juice 1/2 cup sugar 3 tsp. flour 1 can pineapple chunks 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (finely crushed) 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Drain pineapple. Melt 1 stick margarine. Mix sugar, flour and pineapple juice together. Add pineapple and cheese. Put in casserole dish. Mix melted margarine and cracker crumbs together. Spread on top of pineapple mixture. Bake 350 for 35 minutes. Helen Flowers This makes a small size casserole, double if larger casserole is desired. |

I have no idea what cheese and pineapple would taste like. I posted a pineapple casserole recipe awhile back and I was surprised by the taste, so who knows. No cheese in it though!

Actually I think it sounds pretty good. Do you remember the "mock aple pie" recipe that used to be on the back of the ritz box? It was suprisingly good. I eat cheese and fruit together frequently. |
