Thanks permanent dividend fund! I would think if families who can't save for college...saved their PFD every year, they'd have a nice chunk by the time they were 18. My friend has 4 kids, so she gets 1,654 times 4!!! |

Hoody-Hoo!  I was wondering when they'd announce the exact amount! Lots of folks do the collage-fund thing. We always use part of ours to pre-pay our utilities for a year, and depending on whats left, maybe a home-repair project.  |

Our money will probably be spent on house repairs since we'll be putting the house up on the market. When we moved in, we tore the brand new vinyl flooring?? in the kitchen in an attempt to move the fridge. It's only an inch tear, so we've left it alone. We'll have to put brand new flooring in. By "we" ...I mean my FIL and husband. I kept screaming "you're going to tear the flooring!!"  |

| Last week my mom, sister, nephew and nephew's g/f celebated my upcoming birthday with a Alaskan cruise. Nyuck Nyuck!
My mom and sister wanted to purchase a ticket for me and I said "Whaddya Nuts?" I can't leave...Merlin, Panda, Blue, LG, Paris, Asia, Daisy, Puff, Squeak, Arthur, William, Willow, Big Momma, Laurel, Moppet, ect..... So I stayed home while they had fun in Alaska. Sigh maybe some day. Marianne |

We just got our dividend check for $3,269.00. Each member of our family. A shame we couldn't get it for Joshee too (we didn't have him until this year).  Last year we will be enjoying that. Guess we know how we're paying off the furniture for the new house!
