It is great for Maggie -- they tussle, wrestle, carry around stuff animals to tease each other, chase each other in the yard and through the house -- it is so cute. Maggie generally initiates the play and she also is able to tell Ziggi no when she wants peace and quiet. Chummie is less than happy with the arrangement. Ziggi parks herself in front of Chum, trying to make friends I think, and Chum just growls and says go away. She also barks and barks when she sees the youngsters playing. Surprisingly, my house is littered with dog bones and there has not been a single fight. They chomp away peacefully in front of each other. Good dogs! |

awwww sounds like a bunch of sleep overs having a ball. It is so nice they get a long. |
Sounds like Sheepie heaven at your house!!!!! |
I laughed at the reaction of Chum. As Simon is getting older, I see more and more of that behavior. He alternates between feeling young and playing, and then the next time he is old and grumpy!
I bet Maggie is thrilled to have Ziggi be there to play. How nice that they all get along too. |
Great that Maggie has a friend for sleepover |
Fun! How about a video of all the action? |
I bet Maggie is having a blast having a friend there that she can play with night and day. Does it wear her out?
Poor Chummie, those youngsters must be driving her nuts. |
Chum reminds me of my grandmother. She wasn't crazy about kids either. She's just being the Grande Dame and there's nothing wrong with that.
Sounds like Maggie & Ziggi are having a blast, though. Just like giggling little school girls having a sleepover. Happy Times. |
I Chummie! |
Glad Ziggi came to visit! |
Built in playmate for a few days, how much better can it get!! Poor Chum just wants some peace and quiet. Someone asked if Ziggi tires Maggie out, I have the same question. |
How cute this must be to watch!! Taking pictures?? |
What fun!!
Hugs to Chummie |
chummie sounds like my miss daytona derby keeps sitting right in front of her face and daytona just grows you would think she would give up it has
been almost a year and she still hate the new kid on the block. |

Unfortunately, no. I have learned that Maggie has an endless reservoir for play. Anytime it gets quiet, Maggie gives Ziggi a look or a paw, and they are off romping and rolling. Maggie is so happy. I think Ziggi is actually tired. And Chum is ready for Zig to go home. Luckily for me, they all sleep quietly through the night. |
Hope you took pictures
Good on ya chum, keep those youngsters in line Ziggy and Maggie sound like there having a blast together How's the babysitter doing, worn out yet ? |
Oh how fun!!! Chummie reminds me of me when my little sister would have sleep overs. I used to growl when they wanted me to play too! I was 13 and my little sister Traci was 6... I did not want to play tag- and it doesn't sound like Chum does either.
So glad Maggie is kickin' it up and having a blast though. They sound adorable. |
Isn't it great to have occasional houseguests. Oooh, arent' you the lucky one that it's another sheepie. Ziggy, what a cute name. Barkley sometimes has his cousin Duke over (who is getting up there in age) and Barkley tries all weekend to get him to play as hard as he wants to. Now that cousin Duke has been over a few times he's finally playing with Barkley some. They run back and forth, onto the furniture, off etc. Dolan (our son) giggles in delight. He thinks that puppies are the funniest.
We've also had Pam and Randy's Simon and the late Taylor (we miss you boy). They all played and played together and Taylor would also bark at times when Barkley and Simon got too close to him. Anyway, sheepies and sheepies' siblings are so awesome....can you tell I wan't another one? |
