Honey the basset - "after" pictures
She still is doing well. Some swelling, but that's to be expected. She is leaving the staples alone, so that is good.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, still looks a bit droopy to me!!! But then what do I know about bassetts. If I were undergoing a boob job I'd wanna make sure they were "high and tight"  |
| I think I expected it to be more, too. Dawn, was this what you expected? Like Ginny said, I don't know Bassets either! Are they gonna shrivel more?

I was expecting it to be a little more "high & tight" too. But, like you said, I am not knowledgable about Bassets either. It is definitely an improvement though. Perhaps when the swelling goes down it will be higher?  |

The surgery really couldn't go much higher. If you look at her tuckup area, see how low the skin is? If more was removed, it would limit her leg movement too much - been too tight. Also , there is a lot of swelling there. It will definitely get better. There was about 4-5 inches of hanging tissue removed. This was the lesser involved surgery option, and seeing it was done for health reasons, not cosmetic ones, this option was chosen. I will get another picture when she is more recovered and post it. She is being a real trooper - 2 rows of staples, each about 6 inches long. She is leaving them alone too. Lucky - eat your heart out!! |
