Papa Murphy's Pizza - have you tried it
We went in a store here once, but left w/o buying anything b/c nothing looked tempting. Hard to be turned on by an uncooked pizza. On top of the fact of having to cook it ourselves, but the commercials we get always talk about the awards they get for good pizza. Are their pizza's good? Like yum, yum.. give me more

| We've tried it- and it is OK- but nothing we were wowed over. Like you- if I am buying a pizza- it is nice to have it baked and all warm and gooey without having to do a thing! We LOVE East of Chicago's deepdish... umm.. I may be running out to a pizza shop. Now I am hungry.

| Papa Murphy's is ok.
But...since I know you are in their delivery area  Try Pizza Man...they're the best, in my opinion!
You should know by now...I'll always recommend small, local businesses over chains! 
Some of my all time favorite Alaskan businesses (for future reference ): Kaladi Brothers Coffee (although Raven's Roast, Sleepy Dog Coffee and Heritage are good too)
Sagaya's City Market or New Sagaya for groceries (double good, since they both have KBCs in them!) Bears Tooth Grill, and/or The Moose's Tooth for eating out/local beer brewing Titlewave Books Yummie Chummies Dog Treats (made with wild-caught salmon) |
| Can you believe I've never tried Pizza Man?! We even had several coffee's there (military wives)! I just figured it wouldn't be good b/c it was a small chain. When I got here, I ordered pizza at some small chain next to the airport. Some sort of italian ganster name... the owner, a korean, delivered my pizza, and I couldn't take a bite! Me, not taking a bite of food, is rare!!! |
| Papa Murphy's is good, but you need to know someone who works there to get the really good ones.
My friend Mary's daughter worked there, as well as 3 of my nieces and nephews. Now Travis's GF works there. |
| We really like it. It's kind of like subway for pizza. We normally get the chicago style "stuffed" pizza. It's huge, filling, and really good. I'm a big Papa Murphy's fan, and I love that you can get restaurant style pizza and pay a little less. The onyl problem is of course, ytou have to wait for it to bake before you can eat it, obviously. When you just gotten home from work, and you're starving and just want to eat, then can be a big downside! Especially if your oven takes forever to preheat, like mine does! |

| I've tried to twice and just not taken with it. As people say, it's OK, award winning....well, probably better than frozen in a box.
Personally I prefer one made by a real pizza parlor...no way I could spell "pizzarea". My favorite is my homemade pizza, but it's weird. |
| I have never heard of Papa Murphy's...but do you have Papa John's? They are the only pizza place that will include packets of buffalo sauce upon request (and for an extra charge). If you slather your pizza in wing sauce, I'm telling you it's the best thing on earth!! Nothing beats a pepperoni pizza smothered in buffalo sauce! |

| Okay, Joahaeyo, it's all your fault! Jason wanted us to be healthy, and I was going to make baked fish for dinner (yuck), but after this thread I couldn't take it and we ordered pizza. And yes, I drowned it in wing sauce!! (Trust me, if you do that it doesn't even taste like pizza anymore). |
You drowned THE PIZZA in wing sauce?! WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?  I had to re-read it b/c I was sure you were talking about eating wings w/pizza, but nope! Ick.
For ravenmoonart, I will try pizza man friday and papa murphy's some other time. I asked a sports forum, and everyone said they LOVED the PM's pizza. I'm very picky about pizza though. Plus, I trust the opinions here more. |

You mention sports here and many people reply "ughhh..so boring. let's talk shoes!!" That's just not normal where I come from!! I like getting revved up about every Big 12 college game!! You guys don't want to talk about the players from my college or know the latest update since we're not in the area, so how else do I get my fix?  |

| Even those girls (my SIL falls into that category) are football fans!!!
...and I said I want to talk about the Big 12 ...not USC I root for them b/c who doesn't want their conference to be the strongest? So even though I despise Texas and could never be related to someone who went there, it's better they win against USC than not.  |
