Canadian National Specialty
She says it's within an hour's drive of the Queenston - Lewiston crossing at Grand Island New York. A 3 hour drive from the East at Gananoque, Ontario / New York crossing. I have friends who have attended Canadian shows in general ,and some of the OES nationals in particular, and they just rave about their experiences. The OESOCC 2007 National Specialty is Saturday October 27 and is being held in conjunction with the Trillium Dog Fanciers on October 26, 27 & 28. Our Specialty Show judge is Heather Logan, Puppy Sweeps will be judged by Bette Maxwell and Junior Handling is also offered. The show offers three other opportunities to start or finish a championship; Friday's judge is Mrs. Phyllis Wolfish, Saturday's judge is Stephen Dainard and Sunday's judge is Robert Dawson. All breed Junior Handling is also offered on Sunday. 4 shows in 3 days, what a great way to meet old friends and make new ones!! The show is held at the Skyway Trade Centre which is 10 minutes from Toronto International Airport, Dixon Road and Hwy 27, Toronto. The OESOCC has blocked a group of rooms at the Travelodge Hotel for your convenience, which is 5 minutes from the show site!! Reservations can be made by calling 1-888-483-6887, remember to ask for the OESOCC Specialty rate. There will be a hospitability room at the hotel on Friday night with wine and cheese being served and a banquet is planned for Saturday night.
