Poor baby! Slugs are IKY! My boy Bert (almost a year old at the time...NOT a tiny puppy!) did the same thing. He was spinning in circles, whining and acting very panicked, and since I had just seen him sniffing some bushes my 1st thought was a bee-sting! Foz went behind our couch one day and came out, laid down, and was making funny faces. I figured he was eating something so I went over to look at him. There was a huge carpenter ant crawling on his upper lip which was tickling Foz! |
Nothing beats the GIANT black or white slugs we saw on vacation. We were in WA state, at and near the Olympic Nat'l Park and Puget Sound.
I stepped on one (with socks, thank goodness) and about puked when it squished!! |
I don't blame her, slimy slugs YUCK.
With one of mine it was a big hairy Huntsman spider, I ran away from her. I hate hairy spiders. Don't ya just luv it what they can collect in their coats. |

Did you know if you put slug pellets down before before Feb 14th you kill the slugs before they breed!!
Obviously Valentines Day is romantic for slugs as well!! It does work though! |
