I couldn't find anything in the form about rescue parade entries. Anyone know what I'm supposed to send in? I was gonna bring Max and Clyde will have to come as security. |
I still don't know if I can even go, guess I have til Sept5th to decide... I was planning to go but don't know if I can get the time off work now.
I wish it was over a weekend instead of middle of the week... would make it a lot easier to plan for. If I go I guess it would only be for the Weds and Thurs, that's when the main showing is right? I'd just be bringing Bree. |
How the heck could something like that happen at such a late moment? |
Thanks for the info! Mine are going in the mail this week. |

Never mind, found it. It's on page 41 of the PDF (or maybe it was 42). Nonetheless, it's in that area. |
I just recieved an email from Kristine - please hold off on mailing entries until tomorrow - Tuesday, August 28th. Please see my next/other new thread for more details.
I hope you all decide to come. I can't wait to meet more of you in person, and the dogs too! The mailed premium list is not all inclusive. Please see the OESCA website and the premium link. The web info is more current - please go by that. There was also a mailed premium addendum that pertains to the performance aspect of the show. Please check it out and enter!! Lets show all the brains (as well as beauty!) our dogs have. If you are thinking about it for your dog, future pups or rescue dogs, please check it out at this year's show. Doing obedience, Rally, agility and herding are a whole other part of competing and having fun with your OES. (And although herding wasn't able to be included in this year's show, we are working on it for next year!) Here is a link: http://www.oldenglishsheepdogclubofamer ... tional.htm |
Any update? I was going to send my entry today, as it is with the holiday Monday I'm worried about it getting in on time and will probably have to send it express post.... |
Actually, entries for the rescue parade go to Karen Burdash, not Dea. Her e-mail address is kburdash@verizon.net |
No news yet - I keep checking.
Kristine sent me an email at about 8 this am, and said details will be following later today. |
I just posted the new info - please see the new thread titled update of 8/28/07. Kristine and the show committee are trying to reach everyone ASAP, and this forum reaches many of us.
Also, the Rescue Parade does go to Karen Burdash. I will post a copy of the entry below (I hope - I'm not that computer gifted!) OK, I can't get it to work! I will try again later. |

CHEWIE!!
This is your mother speaking! The National is only weeks away. STEP AWAY FROM THE POND.... Love, Mom |
Hi Mom!!!!
Don't worry, she watches me close. This picture is here just to remind me of all the fun I used to have! I've heard lots of stories about you Mom, you were WAY naughtier than me! Oh, and happy 5th birthday to you. I hope you have a wonderful day. I hear today is going to be "resume training day" at my house- it finally quit raining here and no rain for at least a week. I know what I will be doing from now on.... Love, Chewie |
Well, you know what they say, do as I do, not as I say. I mean...never mind.
May have opened that bottle of birthday champagne a bit prematurely. Think it was meant to be shared <hic!> Just stay clean for Dawn. See you at the National. Good thing Kristine is driving. Love, Mad Mom |
