Ha Ha Ha Naughty Simon
Mine was years ago, first sheepie girl, fresh sloppy cow dung. She loved it, I could of killed her Yep we were away too, threw her in the dam to get most of it off and it was a long long long drive home with all the windows open They seem to like this kind of thing don't they, the smellier the better as far as they are concerned. Why of Why |
My first dog (a poodle) love to roll in decayed fish guts! That smell is like nothing else
We lived at the shore & there were plenty of discarded fish parts around. Ah, such fragrant memories |
Why oh Why is so right! The smellier the better, too!! Silly sheepie. |
You have my sympathies. YUCK! |
See? This is yet another instance where having a deaf dog comes in handy....he is NEVER off leash outside, therefore, no rolling in dead-animal parts!
Laurie and a Squeaky Clean Oscar |
WOWSA! It figures it would happen right after the bath!!! |
Last year we lived in the country on a pond. Barkley was obsessed with barking at the geese. ONe morning before work I let him out. He too rolled in geese scat. It took forever to clean the awful, sticky, slimey stuff from his ears. This task made me late for work. ONe of the physicians that I work for heard of the story. To this day he uses the expression "I'm all over that like geese scat on a dog's ear" when I tell him of a patient he has to see.... |
Since dogs sense the world mostly through their noses, what a wonderful experience for your boy! He wanted to remember that smell, adding it to his encyclopedia of scents. Just was we were perfume...............Perhaps if they found a puddle of Chanel #5 they'd roll in that too?? Me thinks, not. |
