I just wanted to say to all those who have been affected by the hurricanes this year- my heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with all of you! Albert's Mommy- I'm so releived to hear all is ok with you!! Looks like your sheepy has the right idea- finding the good (Look mom- the perfect digging spot!!) out of the wreckage. We here in the north have nothing that can compare- straight line winds and tornadoes, but nothing like Ivan!! You are all on my mind- and I truly hope all is well with everyone! | We were lucky also. We managed to not lose power or any trees. Needless to say Pud was a muddy mess for a couple of days though. He doesn't have to have the excuse of a tree down to make a new hole.
Albert's Mom, I am glad all is well with you. I had meant to post earlier, but I managed to get sick the day before Ivan hit.  Thank goodness we did not lose power, as I was not able to do the "emergency" preparations that we were warned to do.
Our hunting camp did manage to lose several trees, but thank goodness none of them managed to hit the house. We have had to do some serious cooking though, as we did lose power there. |
