Agility course (jump and weave poles)
I get home put the jump together and insert the poles into the ground. I turn and look back Obe is taking the pole out of the ground one by one. Tell him no leave it and he runs and jumps over the jump I built just as perfect as can be. I thought for a second good boy! He then turns grabs the pole off the jump stands and starts to chew on it. No appreciation I tell you what. We start trying this make shift agility course out and he goes around the jump and weaves about two poles and wants to play. I thought okay lets get some food and we will start training this way. We start walking through the course and he weaves the 1st set of poles(treat) goes over the jump(treat) next set of poles perfect, another treat. Keep in my we are still walking. We go and do it again only this time it is forget the poles I want the food. He knocks ever pole down, barks, runs to the door, and barks again telling me that it was 5:30-6:00 "time to eat". We have a lot of training to do after work now during the week. Maybe he will catch on after a couple of training sessions. It is fun regardless. |
