By her side as she drifted off, were her loving and heart- sick parents. They told her what a good girl she had been and thanked her many, many times for the wonderful experience of having her in their lives. Her death was a peaceful, as was her life serving others. As a therapy dog for 11 years, she touched many people. As she aged Millie would spend the day after a visit recuperating from all the strenuous activity. But, when the next visit came, she was ready to put on her harness and start again. She is greatly missed by her family, her many friends (2 and 4 legged) and by her adopted daughter "Pearl" my OES, who is trying hard to make Millie proud in her quest as a TOUCH dog. Millie, you will always be our puppy. And I know you are waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge. We will never forget you. Millie and Pearl---- 3 hours later Mille arrived at Rainbow Bridge |
